HML Andertons (the managing agent) intend to renew the electrical meter system at Canary Riverside. To expedite the proposed works they have applied to the First Tier Tribunal (Residential Property) under S20ZA (Landlord & Tenant Act 1985) for dispensation from consultation on a Long Term Qualifying agreement.
The Tribunal issued directions on 21 December 2016, and directed the manager to send a copy of the directions and application to all (residential) leaseholders. Leaseholders should have received these documents with a covering letter dated 4th January 2017. Leaseholders who wish to object to the application were directed to complete the enclosed reply form and send to the tribunal, copied to the manager, by 23rd January 2017.
The Tribunal considers the matter can be dealt with without an oral hearing in the seven days commencing 6 February 2017, or, if an oral hearing is requested by any leaseholder, at an oral hearing to take place at 1.30pm on 15 February at 10 Alfred Place.
