About Canary Riverside
Canary Riverside is a prime residential and commercial development situated on the bank of the Thames in Canary Wharf, London. The site was completed in 2000 and comprises:
280 private residential apartments in four residential buildings:
45 serviced apartments (Circus apartments)
Six riverfront restaurants/cafes
The original estate map can be found here - please note that although the estate layout has not changed, a number of commercial occupants have changed brands - e.g., Holmes Place is now a Virgin Active health club etc.
Residents enjoy spectacular views over London, and their own private communal gardens. Apartments are well-proportioned and spacious, and many have balconies or terraces. There is secure underground parking, and the majority of apartments have an allocated space/spaces. The estate is serviced by a concierge team which is supported by 24-hour security.
The extensive - and growing - facilities of Canary Wharf are a few minutes' walk away, providing residents with easy access to over 300 shops, bars and restaurants. There is an Everyman cinema located in the Crossrail station, and a Cineworld at West India Quay.
Transport links are excellent, and the opening of Crossrail in 2018 will make Canary Riverside easier than ever to get to and from. When fully operational in 2019, Heathrow will be a direct 40-minute journey.
The DLR (Docklands Light Railway) is a five minute walk (Westferry and Canary Wharf stations), enabling easy access to the City and Greenwich.
London City Airport is 20-minutes by cab, or 25-minutes via the DLR.
The Residents' Association of Canary Riverside is an independent association of residential leaseholders at Canary Riverside. Formed in 2013, we provide owners and residents with information and practical advice on living at Canary Riverside, and keep them updated on planning applications and similar issues that impact their homes and investments. If you are an owner at Canary Riverside and not already a member of RACR, please contact us to join.
We can be contacted by email (see below), or you can drop off post to us via the concierge at Berkeley Tower.
