We incorrectly reported in our post on the 7th that the S20ZA would be determined on the 4th and 5th April. The FTT will be considering the case management of the S20ZA application to replace the electricity meters on 2nd March, and will then set a date for an oral hearing or a written determination to take place.
Should the application for dispensation be rejected, full consultation under Section 20 (LTA 1985) will be required.
The process of replacing the existing meters across the estate is expected to take between three to four months. The contractors will require access to every apartment in order to switch out the old meters and replace with new meters. Notice will be given to lessees to enable access to be arranged so that the replacement programme can be completed.
