Recycling Do's and Don'ts

A reminder to residents of the materials that our council is and isn’t able to recycle.

Please see the table below for detail of what should go in to the recycling bins in the chute rooms, and what should go down the chute…

For example:

❌ soiled pizza and other food boxes

❌ crisp bags, food film, bubble wrap, plastic bags, polystyrene

❌ broken glasses or mirrors

✅ aerosols

✅ yogurt pots, ice cream tubs

✅ juice, soup and milk cartons

Please try and crush plastic items and packaging to maximise space in the recycling bins.

If you have a large quantity of cardboard packaging please don’t leave this in the chute room: please flatten it down and take it to the pick-up area on car park level P1 .

Chute rooms need to be kept clear of obstruction and must not pose a fire risk, eg if items are left on the floor. Please let your concierge know if there are any problems.
