Berkeley Tower water leak
/At 6am Berkeley Tower experienced a major leak originating in the 10th floor chute room. Its proximity to electrical supplies has meant electricity has had to be turned off as well as the water supply. The relevant emergency response services were called out and they are working on restoring services.
The water leak entered the High Voltage power room, triggering the fire alarm and that shuts down all lifts across the estate. An electrician is trying to isolate Berkeley from the other lifts so that their service can be restored. We’re told all hands are on deck and there’s a wetvac team on site to dry out the HV floor.
Say no to the 90-seat roof terrace on top of the gym - object by 8th March
/A planning application PA/22/00143/NC has been submitted to create an additional floor on top of Virgin Active (the ‘Club’ building) for an open-air 90-seat terraced restaurant. We urge residents to comment on and object to the application, either by way of the on-line portal [click here] or by sending an email [click here]. Objections must be made by 8th March.
