A new exhibition opens at the Museum of London Docklands today.  Tunnel: the archaeology of Crossrail spans 8,000 years of London's history.  

The High Court has refused the landlord permission for a Judicial Review, and has confirmed that this decision is final: the landlord has now exhausted every possible appeal option in respect of the FTT's decision to appoint a manager under Section 24.  

We incorrectly reported in our earlier post that the matter would be determined on the 4th and 5th April. The FTT will consider the case management of the S20ZA application to replace the electricity meters on 2nd March, and set a date for an oral hearing or a written determination as appropriate.  

The London Fire Brigade attended a fire at the neighbouring Landmark development on Saturday evening, caused by cardboard boxes being stored too close to a spotlight in a shower cubicle.

The First Tier Tribunal (FTT) has said that it will consider the S20ZA application to renew electricity meters at Canary Riverside on 4th and 5th April 2017, when it will also be considering variations to the Management Order.  A report setting out further details on the S20ZA proposals will be made at the end of February.

Lessees will have received a letter from HML Andertons together with a service charge demand in relation to electricity charges for the period 1st October - 31st December.  RACR has produced a briefing note for its members that can be found here.

Plans to build a bridge linking Canary Wharf to Rotherhithe are being developed.  The siting of the bridge could have significant implications for Canary Riverside residents.   The London Mayor and Canary Wharf Group have expressed their support for the bridge.  The current plans propose that the bridge ramp be located next to the Cascades development (the other side of the Riverside South site), while CWG have expressed support for the ramp exit on to Westferry Circus.

HML Andertons (the managing agent) intend to renew the electrical meter system at Canary Riverside.  To expedite the proposed works they have applied to the First Tier Tribunal (Residential Property) under S20ZA (Landlord & Tenant Act 1985) for dispensation from consultation on a Long Term Qualifying agreement.
