The Tribunal has now issued the final version of the new Management Order that forms the legal basis of the appointment of Alan Coates as the Manager of Canary Riverside. The new Management Order took effect on 1st September 2017 and runs through to 31st August 2020.

Last Friday (29th September) residents joined in 'the World's Biggest Coffee Morning' by holding a coffee morning in the Berkeley lobby.  

We raised a total of £335, with £255 raised on the day and and a further £80 donated by residents who missed out on the cake.  

If you have ever been disturbed by anti-social behaviour along the Thames Pathway in front of Canary Riverside and towards Dundee Wharf, make sure you comment on the council's consultation on a Public Spaces Protection Order which covers an area adjacent to our estate.   

Lessees have again received letters from CREM stating that the lease restricts them from allowing anyone to 'share' (use) their parking space, and that by doing so they are in breach of the lease.  This is incorrect: by authorising visitors and other persons to use your flat/parking space on an informal/temporary basis, where no rights or monies are transferred, you are not  in breach of your lease. 

Canary Riverside is joining the world's biggest coffee morning on Friday 29th September, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Canary Wharf have advised us that the north ramp (leading up to/down from Westferry Circus, in front of the Hotel) will be closed this weekend, to enable lamp column replacement works.

Canary Wharf have advised us that the south ramp (leading down from Westferry Circus onto the Isle of Dogs) will be closed this weekend, and that there will also be some road resurfacing works immediately outside Canary Riverside.

Following recent correspondence regarding the use of lessees'/residents' car park spaces we would like to confirm the position with regard to allowing your guests, visitors and other authorised persons to use your parking space.

The Westferry Circus north exit ramp (leading down from Westferry Circus, in front of the hotel)  will be closed on Saturday 26th August between 8:00 and 13:00 for essential works.  The entrance ramp up onto Westferry Circus will still be open.  

Many residents are unfamiliar with how to remove the ceiling tiles to access the FCU(s) located in the kitchen and the tiles may have been painted over/sealed, making their removal difficult.    

There will be various road closures across London this weekend, including the Limehouse Link, while the Prudential Ride London event takes place.  

The heating and cooling system installed at Canary Riverside is provided by fan coil units (FCUs) located in ceiling voids within the apartments.  You can find details of the FCUs installed in your apartment here.  

To maximise the efficiency of the heating/cooling and prevent damage to the unit (or apartment) it is essential that residents regularly clean the FCU filters.

The London Triathlon takes place over the weekend of 22/23 July.  Although it does not pass through Canary Wharf there are road closures nearby that may affect residents.  

The next scheduled quarterly window cleaning at Canary Riverside is due to commence on Monday 10th July, and is anticipated to take 3-4 weeks, weather permitting.  Notices will be put in lobbies to notify residents that the window cleaners are on site.  The window cleaning cradle might pass by your windows at any time between 8am-5pm.

Around 50 residents joined the Great Get Together picnic in the gardens on Saturday, in celebration of the life of Jo Cox and her belief that there is more in common than that which divides us.
